Downloads are served straight from this site’s release repository. No account is required at any point — Google sign-in is only needed if you want your shelf to follow you between devices.
First run
On first launch, pick the folder that holds your PDFs, EPUBs and CBZs
(the default is ~/Library).
Scalino scans it, generates covers, and shelves everything by series.
Sign in to Google and Scalino creates a visible Library folder on your Drive. Your desktop pushes automatically; Android pulls on demand. Skip this and everything stays purely local.
To chat about what you’re reading, enter an OpenAI-compatible API base URL and key in settings. The key is stored in your OS keyring — never in the app — and nothing is sent anywhere until you send it.
